Walk and Talk Counselling is a gentle, nature‑based therapeutic approach where we walk side‑by‑side outdoors while exploring what’s on your mind. Many people find it easier to talk while moving, surrounded by fresh air, trees, and open space. It can feel less intense than sitting face‑to‑face in a room and often helps the body relax so the mind can open. This style of counselling is perfect for people who enjoy being outdoors, feel restless in traditional settings, or simply want a calmer, more grounded experience.

Walk and Talk sessions take place in peaceful, accessible locations around Lake Macquarie and Newcastle, chosen for safety, privacy, and comfort. Common locations include: Lakeside walking paths, Quiet parklands, Shaded nature tracks with easy terrain. You’ll receive the exact meeting point after booking.
A slow, comfortable walking pace. A supportive, confidential conversation. Time to pause, sit, or rest whenever needed. A session tailored to your emotional and physical comfort. A gentle, person‑centred approach — always at your pace. You’re welcome to bring water, comfortable shoes, and weather‑appropriate clothing.
Your comfort and safety are always the priority. Walk and Talk sessions are: Suitable for most fitness levels. Adjusted for mobility needs. Rescheduled in extreme weather. Conducted in public, safe, open areas. If you prefer, we can switch to an indoor or online session at any time.

Our Prices
Individual session $110.00 for 1 hour.
Teenage Counselling Session $90.00 for 1 hour.
Individual Counselling for carers $130.00 for 1 hour.
Couples Counselling Session $150.00 for 1 hour.
Individual Domestic Violence Counselling $40.00 for 1 hour.
Service day hours. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Saturday 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM.
